The left can’t write. At least not well or with good humor. Which makes sense. Leftists are an angry lot. Victimology and entitlement don’t lend themselves to rationality or pleasing prose.
They constantly state opinion as if it were fact. They also arbitrarily insert adjectives or switch verbs, calling something "controversial" if the left doesn't like it, saying someone "attacks" or "jumps on" when they defend themselves, that sort of thing.
They have become so blinded to objectivity that they cannot write or talk without adding emotional argument to what should be a statement of fact. It amazes me, when I see clips, that anyone still listens to corporate narrative as if it were "news."
And as a former teacher married to a teacher, I can tell you that schools aren't teaching it properly. We've had kids passed on to us with reports that they're writing "five pages" of material when the kids can't write one paragraph and edit it without numerous errors.
Finally, too many kids don't speak or hear the language spoken correctly at home and cannot recognize poor speech when they hear/write it. I worked in a tiny, rural district where the principal said "He done" and "She done" routinely --- crazy town. (Sorry for length--subject dear to my heart.)

Avoid all zealots for they are often humorless.
