Founded in 1952, we are a congregation committed to exalting Christ, equipping the saints, and reaching the lost. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and believe in the Triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, died on the cross for our sins, rose the third day, now reigns on high, and His return is certain. Salvation is available to all by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
All leadership is volunteer, enabling the majority of our giving to go to worldwide missions. There are opportunities to serve for those interested in participating, including outreach, hospitality, and music. We are a Bible believing Christian church, an Open Plymouth Brethren assembly.
Sunday Services are usually taught by:* 1st, 3rd, 5th Sundays - Tom Cantor (Founder of Israel Restoration Ministries) 2nd Sundays – Dr. Sam Burton (Retired missionary) 4th Sundays - Dr. Sohrab Ramtin (Professor of Intercultural Studies, Southern California Seminary) Evening Service - John Townsend (Founder of Matthew 25v34 Ministries) *Visiting missionaries sometimes teach on Sunday
We Emphasize the Lord Jesus Christ - Missions, Prayer, and the Word of God
Emphasizing the Lord Jesus Christ: We are an evangelical assembly. We believe the Bible is the inspired word of God and believe in the Triune God - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe the Lord Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, died on the cross for our sins, but He rose the third day, now reigns on high, and His return is soon, personal, and premillennial. Salvation is available to all by faith in Christ.
Missions: The majority of the Chapel's giving goes to world-wide missions. Individuals in the Chapel are involved in outreach in the community and with other outreach organizations. (Matthew 28:18-20)
Prayer: The 9:30 a.m. Sunday Communion Service (weekly except for first Sundays when it's at the end of the 11:15 a.m. Sunday Service) is a time of prayer and worship. We also have a weekly Tuesday evening prayer meeting at 7:00 p.m. and a prayer meeting for Israel on the third Monday of every month. (I Thessalonians 5:17)
The Word of God: The Sunday Service and adult Sunday School are teachings from the Bible, often through a book of the Bible, though sometimes for the Sunday Service we have reports from missionaries we help support. (II Timothy 3:16-17)
We have a traditional worship service. In our traditional service, we start with a moment of silence prayer, sing hymns, have prayers, a musical special, and a sermon taught from the Bible.
