Many years ago I worked in a large university medical center. The "top guy" in surgery was notorious for his sexually (& other) abusive behavior of medical students, residents, admin staff, and his patients. Everyone in the professional area - other physicians, nurses, staff, and hospital administration was keenly aware of this - and did NOTHING. Totally shameful, and the few who reported him were targeted and fired for all kinds of "wrongs". In the end, a fellow physician sued him for wrongful termination, targeted harassment, and so on. I was to be a witness for the suing physician, and fortunately the accused caved and settled. This evildoer resigned shortly thereafter - thank God. No one who has a brain and works in any organization with a sexual predator in management doesn't see the horrible behavior. The nursing home massacre, totally factual and well known, also hums along with zero reckoning for this horrible man. Hochul knows all of this, far better than most, choosing status, money, and wealth over anything or anyone else. Shame on her and all the others who covered and continue to cover for this monsters
