What were the PCR Ct levels used to determine cases? We don't know, not in the publications. What criteria were used to determine severity of disease? A sat < 93%? And what about the fact that patients while blinded were told what side effects might be. The vaccines have generally at least acute effects like localized pain, swelling, fever, myalgias. These are also signs of Covid. How many receiving the vaccine might have had Covid but never sought care assuming it was vaccine side effects. Tough to blind is the short of it. Why were cases two weeks after second dose the endpoint? We know now that there appears to be a window of vulnerability for infection after the initial vaccine for sure. Not at all clear that these vaccines met their primary endpoint.
