We cannot sustain America’s status of a great power in the long term where there is a populace lacking patriotism and a nation lacking a conviction of destiny.

The Four Pillars of National Power include Diplomacy; Information; Military; and Economy. There is some data that can be measured.

Diplomatically, the United States still has a network of alliances and still wields a good deal of diplomatic influence. However, there are issues with the alliance struction. One is that NATO spends far less on defense than the treaty requires. The US is withdrawing from Middle East rapidly and American influence is being replaced by Iranian; Russian; Turk; and Communist Chinese. Recently the Communist Chinese and Russians have scolded the United States for warmongering, international agression, and racism at home.

Informationally, the Democrat (Socialist) Party, Media, and even corporations signal that the United States is second only to Nazi Germany in terms of racism. It is hard to believe but it is true. Otherwise the United States signals all manner of debauchery and weakness. A look at American media should suffice for that. American schools from primary school to collegiate level is also less than stellar.

Militarily. The United States has an aging nuclear arsenal and ageing and over used conventional warfare equipment. The US is withdrawing rapidly. The Taliban are advancing. The simple abandonment of Bagram Air Base and loss of material to looters gives the impression of a rout. If the Taliban defeat the current Afghan government then they will have restored the Status Quo Ante Bellum. They would have restored the situation as it was on 10 September 2001. Essentially the United States will have lost the Global War on Terror after spending up to $3 Trillion and suffering over 60,000 casualties. This doesn't include over 200,000 enemy combatants and non-combatant casualties.

Economically the United States is in the fifth quarter of a recession. The United States has lost a great deal of manufacturing to Communist China and other countries. Look at Chrysler. It has been owned by foreign companies for many years. Ford and GM have the bulk of their manufacturing off shore. These are not the only companies that have made that transition.

The United States is still a great power. The United States dominated the globe in the 1990s and early 2000s. However, we now have a multi-polar world. The Chinese Communists are fairly aggressive in the Western Pacific and Indian Ocean. They pretty much control the Straights of Malacca. They are building a naval base in Gwadar, Pakistan. Their military is modernized and capable.

The United States is in full retreat all around the globe with nearly $30 Trillion in National Debt. This doesn't count over $60 Trillion in corporate and consumer debt. The United States is the most leveraged country on Earth. Massed legal and illegal immigration seems to have helped radicalize the country and it bitterly divided at home.

The United States faced a similar problem between 1972 and 1982. The United States was able to recover with firm leadership under Ronald Reagan following the Johnson, Nixon, Ford, and Carter administrations. There is no guarantee that the United States can recover from this mess following the the Clinton, Bush, Obama, Trump, and Biden administrations. It may be either a long and painful drop to the bottom or something else.....

I root for the U.S.  women's soccer team to lose.  I look forward to seeing all the all the kneelers losing.  I would also like to see the complete dissolution of U.S Olympic teams.  Any organization that allows even one player to kneel does not seserve to represent our country.  That the taxpayers should have to support the public shaming of our country by the athletes who supposedly represent us is ludicrois.
